I was first drawn to writing to express myself creatively. It continues to be a driving passion of mine. My creative work currently focuses on poetry, and I have been featured in publications such as “Window Cat” by bighugpublishing and “Resistentialism” by Poetastard Press. In 2016, I self-published a collection of poetry entitled “EdotGdot”.
I have also done considerable work as an editor. In Portland, I facilitated the poetry critique group for the People’s Colloquium for a few years. I also intermittently participated in a literary anthology selection committee for Write Around Portland. I currently serve as one of the editors for Typehouse Literary Magazine.
I can provide feedback on creative pieces in progress from flash fiction to novels. Sometimes, it is critical to get outside of your own head. This service allows you to get some feedback from a third party.
Manuscript Selection & Proofing
The final steps of publishing can be tiresome. If you are trying to decide what poems or short stories will go into your next chapbook and in what order they will appear, I can read through and offer suggestions.
I can also provide proofreading services for your finished manuscripts so you don’t miss those small typos and formatting issues.
